2016 Here I Come!

Praise God I made it and if you’re reading this, so did you! I have learned to never take one day for granted. If we are still here that means that God still has a purpose for us to fulfill in the earth.

2015 was truly an amazing year for me, but it’s in the history books now, just as today will soon be in the history books and so it will be with the rest of the days in this year very soon.

The benefit of everyday prior to this day is that it has better prepared me for the days, months, and years ahead. Now it’s up to me to take every valuabe lesson I have learned and turn it into a profit; a profit simply meaning something that will add value to me, yep including money.

I pray that you have a vision for your future that includes goals and  strategies to help you achieve them. Perhaps you have heard the saying that, a goal without a plan is just a wish list…

I spent so many years wishing, hoping, and praying that things would change; that didn’t get me the kind of results I was expecting, in fact I kept finding myself in the same place, if not drifting backwards. I discovered recently that I didn’t begin to live until I was in my 40’s and I didn’t start to live my dream until I was 50. I am now in the process of reinventing myself at 51.

So many people live their lives never discovering their purpose, most times it’s because they haven’t stopped long enough to take inventory of what they’re passionate about; purpose and passion are connected, discover one and you will discover the other.

Another saying you may have heard that has a lot of merit is that, if you’re the smartest one in your group of friends/associates, you need to to connect with another group. A HUGE mistake I made was not constantly surrounding myself with people who stretched me and challenged me to pursue my purpose and passion . I  didn’t know any better at the time.

Here’s another saying, if you want to get a glimpse into your future, look at those you surround yourself with. The point is, God never intended for us to live a mediocre life. He wants us to live a grand lifestyle!!!  We are considered Gentile bait…stuff attracts people. Once you get their attention with YOUR stuff you can tell them how you got it, providing that it points back to Christ.

All of this is relative to each individual; no one can define or measure our level of wealth, success, or happiness but us; but to thine own self be true. Some people have issues with associating Christ with riches and wealth, or the fact that He wants us to prosper and be on TOP in EVERY area of  our lives; normally it’s people who have no money or who have not been taught any better. Money is a necessary tool.

Ask YOURSELF how you measure up to your own standards of living, then make the adjustments where necessary. You may have to let go of some things, people, and limiting beliefs that have hindered you from maximizing your potential in this area of your life. We can get comfortable and complacent in a place that was only supposed to be a building block, but now it has become a stumbling block. Now is the time move forward with purpose. It is NEVER too late to dream, to discover your purpose, or reinvent yourself.

Declare with me that the rest of your life will be the BEST of your life!!! Time out for business as usual. It’s time to fulfill our purpose in order to experience the kind of life God had in mind for us way back then.

Make no apologies for releasing unproductive habits, thoughts, or people from your life. Somebody is waiting on YOU to connect your goodness with their dreams. You got somebody’s answer and someone has yours. God had more than us in mind when He placed the dreams, passions, and desires on the inside of us!

If you don’t know where to start, ask me…I can help you!

As always, thank you for your continued love and support. Keep sharing my blogs. Please encourage others to read and subscribe to receive these blogs as well.
